Nairobi Pastor Shames Inua Mama and Embrace Teams Over Slay Queen Tendencies

Popular House of Hope Pastor, Godfrey Migwi, Wednesday launched a scathing attack on female politicians under the Inua Mama and Embrace political umbrella, terming them as a disgrace to veteran women politicians.

The Nairobi-based cleric accused the two fronts of bowing down to their male counterparts, instead of pushing the women empowerment agenda forward, as their predecessors did back in the 90s and the twenty-0hs.

Tearing into the two rival factions, the religious minister noted that unlike women such as Grace Onyango, Phoebe Asiyo, Rose Waruhiu, Eddah Gachukia, Julia Ojiambo, Wangari Maathai, Jane Kiano, Zipporah Kittony, Nyiva Mwendwa, Martha Karua, Charity Ngilu, Agnes Ndetei and Njoki Ndungu, the new breed of female politicians is more focused on immature and divisive agenda, instead of using the positions created for them in the Constitution, to steer the gender equality vision forward.

“Unfortunately, we fell for the common fallacy that by having more women in Parliament, we would automatically achieve equality and better representation on (women’s) issues,” the dismayed Man of God said.

Using the example of Asiyo, Migwi demonstrated the acumen and stature held by female politicians back in the 20th century, citing the former legislator’s success in saving women from dangerous contraception methods, despite having lacked resources such as the now countless women rights lobbies, to push her motions back in her time.

“Take a bow Asiyo, we miss you!” Migwi said, also highlighting the achievements of Gachukia in the education sector, Karua in the justice system, and Wangari Maathai in her conservation efforts.

“Fast forward to 2019, enter drama queens like Cate Waruguru, Susan Kihika, Gathoni Wamuchomba, Millie Odhiambo, Millicent Omanga, Anab Subow, Aisha Jumwa, Gladys Wanga, Gladys Boss Sholei, Mishi Mboko, etc. Not even their elder peers like Alice Wahome and Jane Kihara have shown any maturity or physical integrity; what a disgrace,” the disgusted pastor ranted.

He specifically called out Waruguru for insulting Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waruguru for not having conceived three months after her grand wedding, and Garrisa Woman Representative Anab Subow for her circumcision remarks against ODM Leader Raila Odinga on Saturday.

Inua Mama and Embrace are political groupings allied to Deputy President William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta-Odinga’s Handshake respectively, as leaders align themselves into alliances ahead of the 2022 General Election.

“Now we have slay queen honourables whose duty is to satisfy their political masters in bed and in politics,” the Man of the Cloak sensationally stated.

“The most unfortunate thing happening now in the Kenyan political space is women Parliamentarians agreeing to become praise choirs for male politicians angling to succeed the current President,” Migwi concluded, quoting one Karua.
