7 CSs Who Kenyans Want Fired

 

Misery loves company, and Kenyans on Twitter know this better than anyone else. The collective venting platform on Wednesday was once again united to vent out frustrations over the failure of Ministry heads to deliver in their respective capacities.

Through #firetheseCSs, netizens created a shortlist of Cabinet Secretaries who should be sent packing immediately for letting the country down by spreading toxicity in their dockets.

Top on the list was Health CS Sicily Kariuki, who is not new to KOT backlash.

According to concerned citizens, Kariuki is solely to blame for the deplorable state of health care in the country, with facilities such as referral hospitals rotting away due to negligence and lack of resources.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri was also put on the spot for allegedly allowing unscrupulous businessmen to feed Kenyans food contaminated with carcinogen substances.

Also on the receiving end was Interior CS Fred Matiang’i who Kenyans accused of losing control over the country’s security situation, and the forces charged with enforcing the rule of law, among several other issues.

Rarely picked on Energy CS Charles Keter was also placed on the chopping board being accused of failing to tame Kenya Power over their exaggerated electricity bills.

 

CS Simon Chelugui, who heads the Water, Sanitation and Irrigation docket, was also not spared, due to his connection to the controversial Arror and Kimwarer Dam scandals, as well as, failing to protect Kenyans from water cartels hoarding the precious resource.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CS James Macharia, so often in hot water for allegedly mismanaging the Transport Ministry, was once again put on the spotlight in the Wednesday wave of fury.

Expressing their dissatisfaction with Treasury CS Henry Rotich’s suspension, Kenyans also called upon President Uhuru Kenyatta to completely do away with the “man who messed up an entire country.”
