Mombasa Hospital is on fire.
The biggest private hospital in Mombasa is reported to have caught fire at around 8:30 pm when emergency services arrived at the scene to contain the situation.
As at 9 pm, patients were seen being evacuated from the burning hospital.
Mombasa governor Hassan Joho was hospitalized at the same health institution after his aide told the press he was suffering from Malaria.
He was discharged on Friday, November 8 after doctors gave him a clean bill of health.
