EMB president Bahati recently gifted singer Denno with a brand-new Nissan March to help him with his commute.
This was after he opened up about some of the challenges he faces as a blind person using public means of transport.
Since Denno opened up during an episode of ‘Bahati Reality’ the singer has been taking him around for media interviews and they recently made a stop at Mambo Mseto on Radio Citizen.
It was during this media interview that Mzazi Tuva asked him to address claims of using then abandoning Denno after the release of their song ‘Story Yangu’.
In response, Bahati revealed that he has heard wild allegations in the past, but this one was new to him. He refuted claims of abandoning Denno and revealed that they have been friends ever since the release of their first song. He then went on to add that he also performed at Denno’s wedding.
“We have been in communication with Denno ever since the release of Story Yangu. I was there when he got married and I even performed at his wedding. It’s one of the things that ‘Story Yangu’ offered Denno. It enabled him to get a wife and a kid. We’ve been together through all this process. He has been my friend ever since. Even when he doesn’t produce music I try and push him to release songs. Even though he didn’t open up to me about his issues, I was a constant in his life,” he affirmed.
