Hi Liam. I have a confession, I need to let this out of me before it explodes inside. My wife of one and a half years is the worst person at money management. For a person who has a bachelors degree in Economics, she can’t manage a simple home budget and sorry to say this but she is pulling me backwards instead of being my support so that we can grow together.
I see women all over social media complaining how their men want them to dress fine but don’t invest in the clothing, my case I give her the money she needs for fashion but she always ends up disappointing me.
Last week I gave her cash for everything including food for a whole week but she used all in a single pair of shoes. I was in a rage, how do you buy a shoe for Ksh. 13,500?!.
In our short time of marriage, my wealth has gone down by a whopping 5% which will raise to 6% when I buy her a brand new Porsche Panamera that she requested as a birthday present next month. U can see the kind of person she is, she doesn’t wait to be surprised, she orders herself.
First days I gave her access to my bank accounts instead of setting a separate one for us in solidarity with our marriage and to show trust and believe it or not she used 162K in 30days so I denied her access of which we had a huge fight afterwards.
