Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s lover Perrie Edwards got embarrassed badly when his man was doing duty for Liverpool against Genk on Tuesday.
The music star spelled her footballer boyfriend’s name incorrectly on her Instagram story, and before she knew it, everyone including her fiancé was at it with corrective comments.
After Chamberlain scored for the Reds, Perrie posted a photo of her love – referencing the song Liverpool fans sing about him in the stands.
She captioned the photo: “You to me are everything my Alex Oxlade-Chamberlaine Oh Baby Oh Babehh” adding an additional ‘e’ by mistake.
And it didn’t take long for fans to message her to point out her error, one called Jack said: “I love you and him but you should be able to spell his name love (crying laughing emoji) up the Reds.”
To which Perrie replied “F***s sake! My bad. Thank you Jack.”
And after the Reds 2-1 win Alex messaged his girlfriend also pointing out her error.
He said: “Lol, cannot believe you spelt my name wrong on your story (crying laughing emoji)”
And Perrie replied: “I hate myself.”
But then Perrie hinted that an engagement between the pair could be happening soon.
She said: “It’ll be way easier to spell when it’s my second name and I have to write it all the time!”
Perrie and Oxlade-Chamberlain are rumoured to have started dating in November 2016, with her following him on Instagram in January 2017.
After weeks of speculation Perrie finally confirmed Oxlade-Chamberlain was in her life, as she posted a photo of him next to her dogs at the dinner table later that same month.
And now almost three years later they’re still very loved up.
