The Kibra by elections are set for Thursday, October 7, 2019. Various political parties have flexed their muscles on the campaign trail with each highly confident of winning the coveted seat. The by-election has been one of the most followed in recent times with political bigwigs led by DP William Ruto and opposition chief Raila Odinga, all camping in the area to ensure they reign supreme at the end of the day.

Apart from Raila and Ruto, Mudavadi has also been on the ground trying to drum up support for his main man Eliud Owalo who will go head to head with Jubilee’s Macdonald Mariga and ODM’s Imran Okoth. The election is seen by many as a three-horse race despite the fact that more than 20 candidates were cleared by IEBC to contest for the seat.

From Opera, we wish all the candidates the very best and call on the residents of Kibra to maintain peace at all times during and after the electioneering period.
