Like Mother Like Son! Nazizi’s 9 Year Old Son Wows Fans on Stage Singing Legendary Reggae Song

Veteran rapper Nazizi Hirji’s 9-year-old son Tafari Firoz wowed fans with his rendition of the legendary reggae song Girlie Girlie by Sophia George.

The young boy performed the song at an event dubbed ‘Reggae under the sun’ that was held at Nairobi’s Alliance Francaise.

Tafari has truly taken after his mother’s musical genes. With every lyric, he had the crowd going wild. The legendary 1985 hit song is a fan favourite for reggae lovers and non-reggae listeners alike.

The video taken by the night nurse Tallia Oyando showed fans cheering the young boy on as they sang along to the lyrics. His mother stood right next to him for moral support.

Tallia admitted to being moved to tears by the epic performance.

“I was in tears the whole time he was on stage he looks so much like his late Uncle Firoz made miss him so much. He would have spoilt him rotten. Your brother was alive on that stage,” she said.

She likened the young boy to his late uncle and Nazizi’s brother Ferouz who passed away a decade ago in a tragic road accident.
