Arsenal Manager on The Verge of The Sack

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reportedly on the verge of dismissal after yet another disappointing English Premier League outing at the Emirates on Saturday against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Gunners were held to a successive draw at home by Wolves after Raul Jimenez canceled out a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang goal for the hosts.
This was a second straight home draw for the hosts after last weekend’s game against Crystal Palace where the hosts threw away a two-goal advantage to pick a point at home.

Reports in England now indicate that the Spanish tactician could be dismissed as soon as next week with the Arsenal hierarchy said to be fed up with the inconsistent run under the former PSG and Sevilla coach.
Asked after the match whether he felt his position was under threat, the two time Europa League winning tactician shrugged it off stating that he is too demanding of himself.
“I am very demanding of myself. I feel the responsibility to work and come back with better results,” he said.

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, former Arsenal captains Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira have been touted as possible replacements for the under-fire coach.
Meanwhile, Wolves coach Nuno Espirito lamented the chances his team threw away in the game. Wolves had 25 shots on Arsenal’s goal but managed to score just once and Espirito feels his side should have done better.
“We should be more clinical when you have so many chances. It is a lot of shots we must improve. Perfection doesn’t exist but we keep chasing it,” he stated
