Finally, the curtains fall for Hussein Mohamed as a news anchor and a political show host at Citizen TV.
As the reality dawn to many of his supporters, a section Kenyans have taken to the social media to express how they will miss the veteran journalist.
Early October, Hussein announced the end of his grand stint at the TV station saying he was going to concentrate on other things that he didn’t specify.
However his last words on his farewell message, ‘See you soon’, raised eyebrows whether he was moving to another media house.
Nevertheless, on Tuesday night, Hussein is expected to host his last show at the Royal Media Services owned TV station.
The news anchor confirmed on Tuesday evening that indeed he had not changed his mind regarding his departure by posting on his social media account that he was poised for his last Newsnight show.

He will be hosting the Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and the National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi.
The leaders will be discussing the long-awaited Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) report that has reportedly suggested a Parliamentary system of governance.
Hussein’s last show has attracted the attention of his followers on social media.
Majority of them have regretted the fact that they will not see the celebrated news anchor again on their screens.
