Kenya Defence Forces, KDF has announced new recruitment dates barely 10 days after it postponed its initial recruitment exercise.
According to the KDF, the recruitment which had earlier been postponed for unknown reasons has been rescheduled to take place from 27th November to 16th December 2019.
Through its official Facebook and Twitter pages, the defence body announced that General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, Specialists Officers, and Tradesmen/women are expected to apply to the Defence Headquarters as earlier announced.
General Duty Recruits and Defence Forces Constables will be recruited at all sub-counties by KDF teams at dates specified in the overall list of recruitment.
All the candidates who had earlier send their application letters for the GSO Cadets and Specialist positions have also been advised to re-apply for the positions.

KDF will be hiring cadets, general duty recruits, constables, medical officers, pharmacists, nursing officers and dentists during the exercise.
There also vacancies for specialist officers in cybersecurity/digital forensic/IT, engineers, journalists, lawyers, physical training, finance/accounting, statistics and hospitality management/catering.
Other vacancies that are available are for medical officers, pharmacists, nursing officers, dentists, laboratory technologists, counseling psychologists, public health officers, music specialists, chaplains/imams, oceanographers and dock masters.
The general public has been warned against any form of corruption during the exercise.
“Bribery and other acts of corruption are against the law. All persons presenting themselves for recruitment purposes with fake/falsified documents or caught engaging in any corrupt activity shall be arrested and prosecuted,” reads the statement.
Positions of the servicemen/women will be filled at different sub-counties in the country at the specified dates.
