Arsenal fans have taken to social media to slam manager Unai Emery terming him a worse manager than his predecessor Arsene Wenger following the Gunners’ defeat to Sheffield United on Monday night.
The Gunner suffered a shocking defeat to the Blades at the Bramall Lane courtesy of a Lys Mousset’s first-half strike. Arsenal had a fair share of goal-scoring chances but they threw them away. Nicolas Pepe wasted what was the easiest chance when he missed a sitter whilst unmarked ten minutes before the hosts went ahead.
The defeat denied Arsenal a chance to move back to the top three and ended the Gunners’ eight-match unbeaten run. Prior to the match against United, they had gone without defeat since the 3-1 loss to Liverpool in August.
The defeat ignited an online debate on Emery’s suitability for the Arsenal job. Fans have seemingly been losing confidence in the manager owing to the team’s unattractive style of play and failure to kill off matches.
On Monday night, fans were once again irked and some termed the former Sevilla and PSG manager a worse coach than Wenger whom he replaced in 2018. Some went ahead to call for his sacking he is taking the team back.
Emery's philosophy is shit! Arsenal is slowly becoming a "Pass-the-Ball-Aimlessly" "Park-the-Bus" and "Force-a-Draw" team. It's cowardly tactics, WE NEED WENGER BALL! #SHUARS

Genuine question: Would you prefer to have Unai Emery or Arsene Wenger managing this current Arsenal squad?

Arsene Wenger rarely had big signings and top quality squad but what is certain is that he doesn't play up nonsense line up week in week out…Emery should leave please

When Sanchez was up to his antics and Wenger threatened to drop him, he relegated him to the bench but brought him on later. He swallowed his pride for the good of this club. Unai Emery's pride will take this club to the grave but he won't swallow it.

'I can't see any improvement from Arsenal since Emery took over from Wenger, if anything they're worse. Sheffield United even played better football than Arsenal tonight, and you wouldn't see that under Wenger.. '

Arsene Wenger had his faults in his later years, but at least his team's always had an identity, a way of playing.. can anyone tell me what Emery's philosophy is?
After a year and a half, I'm still none the wiser..#Arsenal— Carl Bövis ⚽ (@CarlBovis_AFC) October 21, 2019
Replacing Wenger with Emery is the greatest disgrace to football

Look we knew Arsene Wenger had to go, but we can all admit Emery is not the answer. Nothing has changed.

Wenger In Vs Wenger Out was a pretty even contest. Both sides had pretty decent arguments. With Emery though, 99% are Emery Out and that 1% who want to stay are not because they believe in him, but because they don't want a manager sacking mid season.

•Arsene Wenger would never have lost that
•Arsene Wenger would never make Xhaka a captain
•Arsene Wenger would never have started willock while Ceballos in on the bench
•Wenger would never have played such a boring game!Unai Emery has killed arsenal COMPLETELY 😫 #EmeryOut

Jamie Carragher on Emery: “I said it before, I don’t see anything different to when Arsène Wenger was there at the end, I don’t see it. In fact, at times, it looks worse.” [Sky] #afc pic.twitter.com/2LoLPGP40S
