Popular Actress Catherine Kamau has today warned ladies against teenage/early pregnancy.
The actress addressed ladies who think that getting pregnant for a man secures the relationship.
She warned that in most cases, ladies who use this tactic end up being disgraced which is not worth it.
This topic- teenage pregnancy has seemingly bothered her for a while now and she encouraged fans to join her to fuel change.
Catherine strongly disagreed with people who think that it is okay for young girls to get pregnant.
According to her, people come from different backgrounds and just because someone made it does not mean that everyone else will.
“Can we stop telling young girls it’s okay when they fall pregnant! Because it is not. And it is going to be extremely hard.” She stated
The actress advised ladies to think about their parents who are sacrificing a lot for them. She also urged those who got caught up in such situations to learn from their experiences.
Her main counsel from her is that ladies should wait and focus on securing a good future for themselves.
“Please wait! It is a beautiful thing when you just wait a little! Secure your future young queen…” she wrote in her post
Her advise comes weeks after she announced that she is expecting a child with the love of her life Philip Karanja.
