KTN Journalist Tony Gachoka has termed Deputy President William Ruto bid for the 2022 Presidential seat as a ‘false presidential bid’.

“Good morning to supporters of DP Ruto and his false Presidential Bid of 2022 I say if you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles,” Gachoka said in a Tuesday morning tweet.

Gachoka’s sentiments attracted a flurry of reactions from Kenyans. @TeamWilliam Ruto told the controversial Journalist it is just a matter of time before DP Ruto becomes the President.

“Anti-Ruto social media brigade leader @TonyGachoka you can’t stop an idea whose time has come. Our humble and God-fearing Deputy President Dr. William Ruto will one day be the President of this country. Just a matter of time”

@MutichiloMike accused the controversial journalist of being obsessed with the Deputy President while quoting Former America President Eleanor Roosevelt words: “Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events and small minds discuss people”.

Gachoka in the past has also accused DP Ruto had launched his campaigns for the house on the hill way before time.

He said: “William Ruto often surprises me. He’s been running for President against himself the last 2 years and is still campaigning 3 years ahead of elections. His supporters claim he has won against imaginary candidates. Ambition without knowledge is like a ship on Land”.

The Journalist’s frequent attacks on DP Ruto has often put him at loggerheads with Jubilee politicians and supporters.

Of the most visible online fights is that of Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Gachoka.

The most recent one is when Murkomen accused Gachoka of being a public nuisance following the latter arrest at Diani Airstrip for forcefully trying to board a Silverstone aircraft while carrying alcoholic drinks.

In a comeback, Gachoka accused the Senator of being a crook and asked him to get a life.

He tweeted: “I would rather have a drink when am off work in Diani than steal a dam from my own people. Crooked people are worse to look at than a tipsy 50-year-old. Get a life”.
