“We (ANC) are campaigning on the ground. We have not made Karen our campaign headquarters. The headquarters of campaign for Kibra seat must be in Kibra” he said while campaigning for ANC candidate Eliud Owalo.
He added that the voters should not go to DP Ruto’s official residence in Karen because it was build using taxpayers’ money.
Mudavadi also asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to rein on the Deputy President whom he accused of abusing his office.
DP Ruto is leaving no stones unturned to ensure that Mariga carries the day on November 7.

The DP who is regarded as a shrewd political strategist has been meeting groups of Kibra residents at his Karen home.
On October 8th, he hosted a delegation of grassroot leaders from Kibra constituency and elected leaders in Nairobi County to drum up support for Mariga.
Both DP Ruto and Orange Democratic Leader Raila Odinga have not gone to Kibra to campaign for their party candidates.
