Former Mukurweini MP Kabando Wa Kabando has claimed that a section of Tanga- tanga leaders will not stick with Deputy President William Ruto beyond 2021.

Speaking when he appeared for the KTN Tv Point Blank show, the former legislator opined that most of the leaders were only after Ruto’s money and will dump him once they get enough of what they want.

Citing examples of leaders from Mt. Kenya, Western Kenya and Coastal regions in Tanga-tanga, Kabando advised Ruto not to be fooled by their praises because Kenya’s history will be repeated, he will be dumped.

“A huge number of these individuals will not be where they started today in 2022 and my advice to the deputy president is; Listen carefully to those you may not trust and know the history of this country. They will not stick with you…they may be with you now because they are excavating for the gold you might be having, but will leave once they get it,” stated Kabando

Kabando liked Ruto to a low hanging fruit that will be picked by every passersby, feasted on, then thrown away once it becomes useless.

According to Kabando, there was a political super alliance shaping up for 2022 being spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga.

“A political tornado is coming and is going to emerge in 2022. The handshake was not enacted in vain but for a purpose. A super alliance is coming and coming fast,” communicated Kabando.

The chairman of the Local Authorities Provident Fund (Lapfund) board further revealed that the alliance will be an important outfit for drumming up support for an impending referendum.

“One camp will consist of perpetrators and hostages of impunity against another consisting of individuals who have submitted themselves to dismantle the state and restructure the leadership system,” he added

While warning those opposing the BBI of an embarrassing defeat, Kabando exhibited his confidence that the president will endorse the report once it gets to his office and give Kenyans a chance to debate on it.

“If President Kenyatta and Raila endorse it, governors, Senator Gideon Moi and Isaac Ruto who represent all corners of the country also support it, and then Kenya will get its third referendum,” he remarked.
