Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan is one lady who has been in a lot of controversies in the past few years. From a broken relationship to fashion blunders, here are some of the Zari’s embarrassing moments :
1.Miss Uganda Pageant:
Zari Hassan was a judge at the Ms. Uganda fashion show. She caused drama after she appeared drunk while announcing the winner.
Zari took the microphone and started calling out other women for not supporting each other. She appeared jittery and confused as she spoke over the host Fabiola. The host tried to take over from Zari but the boss lady would have none of that. She even talked of being disrespected by the host.
2.Calling Diamond ‘a dog on social media’:
The act of Zari referring to the father of her two kids as a “dog” was castigated by a good number of fans who took to the comment section to express their feelings.
She got a backlash for downgrading Diamond and termed it a lack of respect and a total embarrassment basing since they used to stay under the same roof before they parted ways.
3.Sex tape:
After bringing back an age-old feud with a certain Tanzanian activist, Zari’s long lost dirty bedroom video found its way back to the internet.
4. Marrying a man who always ‘murdered the Queen’s language’
Zari aka the boss lady is a classy woman who speaks fluent English, as do her children.
But Zari had no option but to endure the embarrassment caused by Diamond Platnumz, who on several occasions spoke broken English.
5.Cheating on Diamond:
Zari was accused of cheating on her after pictures surfaced online showing her with another man having a good time in a swimming pool.
Zari then decided to respond to the allegations stating that the unknown man was the cousin to the late Ivan Don, her former husband and she took the pictures courtesy of his wife.
She was also alleged to have cheated with Peter Okoye of music powerhouse, P square.
6.Rude to her social media fans:
Zari has also never publicly declared whether she is Muslim or a Christian. She once lashed out at a fan who had innocently asked of her religion.
She rudely responded to the fan saying that she did not have to take painkillers for another person’s headache, insisting that they should keep off her affairs and mind their business.
7.Mocking Diamond On Social Media:
Socialite Zari Hassan has denied sending her estranged baby daddy a disrespectful birthday message days after he turned 30.
The mother of five was accused of going off on Diamond Platnumz via social media in what appeared to be a retaliatory remark. Zari has constantly mocked Diamond.
