Shock as Church Bus is Intercepted Ferrying Bhang

Police in Taita Taveta County are holding the driver and conductor of a church bus which was intercepted while transporting bhang.

A passenger who was aboard the bus, belonging to the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship for Africa (PEFA) is also in custody.

Police inspect goods retrieved from the bus, among them rolls of bhang.

The bus was intercepted at Voi area.

According to Voi OCPD, Bernastein Shali, 230 rolls of the illegal drug were recovered during the ambush.

The rolls were concealed in bags containing omena.
