Chemelil Sugar Head Coach Francis Baraza has come out to talk about his side’s dismal performance in the league so far.

The Millers are rooted deep inside the relegation zone after four matches and fans are already worried about their fate.

Baraza, the man tasked with ensuring that all is well for better results, however, says things are not as easy. He says the matter is seemingly beyond his abilities due to the fact that issues cut across players, management, indiscipline cases and lack of motivation.

“Everyone here looks tired. The management is tired. The technical bench is rusty. The players are hungry. As you might already know, we don’t have stable financial support so our players are basically demotivated. I’ve tried as a coach but no strategy seems to be working,” he told Opera News.

He, however, says they’ve tried to make use of the international break and that he believes some positive results will come out of it when the league resumes.

“We took time to work on our weaknesses during the break, and I strongly believe that we can start performing better. We don’t want to put much pressure on us for a win so our main focus right now is to avoid any losses. A draw would be better,” he said.
