Good morning,

If you are reading this, then you are one of the millions of Kenyans who witnessed the greatest weekend of partying. Trust me when I say what happened over the past few days may never happen in our lifetime again. (I honestly hope I’m wrong because partying should be unlimited.)

Eliud Kipchoge’s milestone on Saturday opened a floodgate of goodies for Kenyans as corporates took advantage of the 1:59 challenge.

East Africa Breweries Limited (EABL) announced that their beers would retail at Ksh159 in selected outlets. Hailing taxi companies; Uber and Bolt slashed Ksh 159 from all their rides on Saturday.

In Eldoret, unconfirmed reports said sex workers were offering their services for free. I’m sure there was someone who took a free Uber ride to a joint, he got beer for Ksh 159 and got serviced free of charge.

But the party didn’t stop there, we woke up on Sunday morning to a #NoBraDay. Now, this day is meant to create cancer awareness but some of you celebrated it in ways only you know.

Far away in Chicago, another Kenyan Brigid Kosgey smashed the Women’s Marathon Record by more than one minute. Lawrence Cherono won the Men’s race.

The Kenya Women’s Rugby team capped off a great weekend for sports as they qualified for the 2020 Olympics.

Here are the stories making headlines this morning:

ODM Party Campaigns for their Candidate in Kibra by-elections Imran Okoth

Raila Odinga’s ODM and ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi have alleged a complex plan to rig the November 7 Kibra by-election.
