Political leaders across the divide joined Kenyans in congratulating Eliud Kipchoge who today morning became the first human to run a marathon under 2 hours.

Kipchoge ran the 42 kilometers Vienna race in a time of 1:59:40.
Kipchoge said the race was not easy but managed to conquer the feat through perseverance.
He appreciated his team of 41 pacemakers for accepting to join him in the daunting challenge.
Furthermore, the athlete encouraged Kenyans to go about their daily challenges with the mind that everything is possible.
“No human has a limit” he said.
In an earlier media interview, Kipchoge said he participated in the race to break history.
“Berlin was about running a world record, Vienna is about running and breaking history, like the first man on the moon,” he said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kipchoge has trully inspired the world.
