Miss Universe Kenya officials have finally unveiled the faces of the finalists for the 2019 contest.
The crowning of this beauty pageant is scheduled for 20th October and will be held at the Panari Hotel.
15 contestants made it to the finals after challenging activities including a boot camp ahead of the major event.
The winner of the beauty contest will take the crown from the Miss Universe Kenya 2018 Wabaiya Kariuki.
She will also represent Kenya at Miss Universe – an annual international beauty pageant that is run by the American-based Miss Universe Organization.
Akothee’s second-born daughter, Agrrey Dion Okello, famously known as Rue Baby, is among the finalists in this pageant.
Although many assumed that she made it this far because of her mother’s influence; Rue attributed this achievement to her hard work.
“I have seen many negative comments, saying that it’s my mother that got me into the competition.
“I have worked myself so hard and I’m also very competitive to get the crown. It is my hard work that has gotten me there,” she stated
It is with no doubt that each model in this contest dreams to have the crown and it will definitely be a stiff competition.
Although beauty might be one of the aspects that will determine who wins, it takes more to be a beauty pageant winner
If looks are anything to go by, it is quite convincing that Kenya will be well represented at the International level.
