Zoo Kericho will be looking for their first win against the defending Champions Gor Mahia. The team has not beaten K’Ogallo in 7 previous outings and lost both legs last season with an aggregate score of 8-0 going own 4-0 in both matches.
Since beating Chemelil Sugar 3-1 on the first day of the season, Zoo lost all their next 3 matches against Bandari FC, Tusker FC, and Wazito FC.
Gor Mahia, on the other hand, could go into this fixture on top of the table should they win Wednesday’s clash with Nzoia Sugar at the Mumias Sports Complex in Kakamega. Steven Pollack’s side is, however, injury struck and were forced to name just 4 players on the bench during the 2-0 loss to USM Alger in the CAF Champions League at the Kasarani Stadium.
