Embakasi East MP Babu Owino on Tuesday gave a piece of advice to Jubilee Kibra candidate Macdonald Mariga ahead of the November 7 by-election.
Through a tweet, Babu ridiculed Mariga over his poor public speaking skills.
The controversial lawmaker pointed out the struggles that the former Harambee Stars midfielder had when articulating certain words.
“Mariga sasa aanze kuzungumza sio kudhuumdha kila saa dham..dham…dham.” remarked Babu.

On September 18, Babu had asked Mariga to choose between taking Ken Okoth’s alleged baby mama Anne Thumbi and his seat.
Owino had alleged that the ex-Parma player could not have both as it was an injustice to Okoth’s memory.
“This is the lady who had a baby with the late Hon. Ken Okoth. Mariga must choose between the lady or the seat, hauwezi dharau (You can’t disgrace) the late Ken by taking both his seat and his wife. Choose one Omwami.” stated Babu.
The former University of Nairobi Student Leader added that Mariga should not be elected on the grounds that he was disrespecting Okoth.
This was after Thumbi accompanied Mariga on a campaign trail in Kibra.

Kibra Constituency Returning Office Beatrice Muli invalidated Mariga’s candidature at the time because his name was not in the voter’s register.
The decision was later overturned by IEBC’s disputes tribunal after the former Inter midfielder’s appeal.
