Kariobangi Sharks Planning to Chew Chemelil Sugar

The Sharks have not recorded any win so far, and they will be facing the wounded Chemelil Sugar on October 5.

With the match in mind, head coach William Muluya says they have no option other than to work harder in a bid to collect their first bunch of three points as soon as possible.

“It’s just to keep working. We have no other option. We will keep working hard and hard so that we do better in our next fixture,” he told the club’s official website.

He also reflected on their previous match against Mathare United which ended even, a result he says worries him especially due to the fact that they did not score a single goal at the encounter.

“It’s a big concern for me (failing to score goals). To go three games without a goal is not a good thing. We play well, we create the chances but our decisions in the final third are not the right ones. We will have to work on that part of our game. We shall invest more time in training to be better in that part. “

“It’s not a good one for us (failing to win the Mathare United match). It means we are yet to win this season. However, having come from a difficult loss last weekend, I will say this point is better than leaving with nothing. It was always going to be a tight affair because we are teams that play similar football and our players know a lot about each other,” he said.

Kariobangi Sharks are currently 15th while their next opponents are on the bottom slot of the 2019/20 Kenyan Premier League table.
