Nandwa Eyeing Ulinzi Scalp

Sony Sugar FC head coach James Nandwa says his side will be out to pick maximum points when they travel to Nakuru to play Ulinzi Stars on Saturday, September 28 in a Kenyan Premier League match at Afraha Stadium.

The Millers will be looking for redemption having lost their last at home to Bandari. They face a military outfit that equally lost its last match, Ulinzi suffered a 2-1 defeat in the hands of Mathare United when a Clifford Alwanga stoppage-time header earned the Slum Boys maximum points.

Heading into the game, Nandwa says the target is to get a second win of the season although he admits that it will not be an easy task as they face an equally good and hungry side in Benjamin Nyangweso’s Ulinzi Stars.

“We want to get maximum points. Last week we lost and its time to redeem ourselves against Ulinzi. We have prepared well for the game and I believe that we can get maximum points from the match. However, I know it will not be easy because we face a strong team that equally wants to win and I believe it will be a tough battle which we have prepared well for,” he said.

The Millers will welcome back three players who missed the match against Bandari. Keegan Ndemi, Kevin Onsongo and Swale Chache. The three missed the game against Bandari as they are on loan at Sony from the Dockers and Nandwa says their availability is a boost for his side.

“It makes us stronger because we missed them against Bandari. Their availability makes us better and I am happy to have them back,” he added.
