Zoo Kericho have earmarked their next match as a must-win encounter. They will be playing against returnees Wazito FC at Kericho Green Stadium on Sunday, September 29.

Zoo are going to the match from a 2-1 loss at the hands of Tusker, but they are all brave to face off and beat the Fred Ambani-coached side.

On Tuesday, September 24, the club took to their social media page to rally their fans for a mouth-watering clash with a promise of bagging all the points. “A must watch match, a must win match,” they posted.

So far, Zoo Kericho have garnered three points from two losses, (against Bandari and Tusker) and one win (against Chemelil Sugar).

Wazito have recorded two draws (against Nzoia Sugar and Western Stima) and one loss (against AFC Leopards).

The Zoo Kericho warning comes after Gor Mahia Secretary General Ben Omondi cut Wazito to size and insisted that the moneybags will never pose any challenge in the league.

“Wazito FC will soon run out of gas and start fighting for league survival because they don’t have what it takes yet, to pose a challenge. It is not always that easy. That when you have a new bus or a big bus with players picked from here and there, you automatically qualify to compete with bigwigs,” Omondi told Opera News.

Zoo Kericho are 13th on the log, two places above Wazito.
