Four people have been reported dead after a matatu carrying to full capacity collided head-on with an oncoming lorry.
The 5 pm accident happened at the Maragwa river bridge on Murang’a-Kenol road.
The matatu was heading to Murang’ a town from Nairobi while the lorry was moving in the opposite direction.
Additional reports claimed that 16 other people were rushed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.
Allegedly, the accident is said to have occurred after the driver of the lorry lost control of the vehicle and drove into the lane that the matatu was using
