Kibicho Fires Another Shot To Ruto And Tanga Tanga Members

PS Karanja Kibicho tells Tanga Tanga members to keep off Kirinyaga with their empty rhetorics.

Principal Secretary, State Department Of Interior Karanja Kibicho has yet again blasted Tanga Tanga members from taking empty rhetoric to Kirinyaga county.

Speaking on Friday, during the launch of a borehole at Gathogwini Primary school in Kirinyaga, the PS said Tanga Tanga members had brought confusion in the region rather than development.

“You come to harvest that which you have not planted. You never took part in weeding nor are you aware when the crops were treated with insecticide. We don’t want confusion in this region.

We have to resist that kind of confusion. We want leaders who will build the culture of development that is ingrained in our way of life. We want development, not empty rhetoric,” said the Kibicho.

According to NTV report, the PS told off the Tanga Tanga members adding that they should keep off Kirinyaga county.

The attacks which were ostensibly directed to the Deputy President William Ruto and a group of MPs supporting his presidential bid.

The war of words comes at the backdrop of rumoured infighting within the government.

File: Karanja Kibicho addresses journalist where he rubbished the allegation of DP Ruto’s assassination.

DP Ruto has reportedly had a rocky relationship with PS with a group of MPs from Mt Kenya region alleging that Kibicho had warned them against supporting the Deputy President.

In July a mysterious letter emerged on social media indicating that a meeting was being held at La Mada hotel to plan the execution of DP Ruto.

Kibicho was alleged to be at the nerve centre of the assassination activities together with other four Cabinet Secretaries.

Blogger Dennis Itumbi was arrested in connection to the letter.

Itumbi, in an affidavit, claimed that he has audio and video recordings of the alleged meeting by the CSs at Hotel La Mada.

The PS, however, dismissed the allegation and termed them a lat lie.

The cases collapsed but Ruto and his supporters have continued to accuse Kibicho of working behind the scenes to block his 2022 presidential bid.
