Tusker FC have expressed their contentment with the pace at which their injured players are recovering.

Three players for the club have not set foot on the pitch since the beginning of the 2019/20 season after sustaining different injuries but the club is now optimistic they will soon return. The fourth one was in the squad at the league opener but missed when they locked horns with Mathare United on Saturday.

They include goalkeeper Robert Mboya-who only missed the Mathare United match, midfielder Humphrey Mieno, midfielder Kevin ‘Ade’ and midfielder Apolo Otieno.

On Monday, the club published photos of the players while at the gym to show how well they were doing in the recovery process.

Head of Communication Diana Yonah also confirmed the progress to Opera News with an assurance that the players will soon hit the ground.

“These players are really responding well to exercises and treatment with a mindset of getting back to the pitch as soon as possible. We are very happy that Kevin Ade’s surgery was successful and that the other three who had also sustained injuries are getting better every day,” she said.
