AFC Leopards will be looking for their first win of the season when they host Kariobangi Sharks at the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday. Leopards were beaten 1-0 by Kakamega Homeboyz in the first match while Sharks drew 2-2 with Western Stima.

Both sides boast of talented squads and below, we look at the 3 players to watch from both sides.

Paul Were-AFC Leopards

The explosive winger has all the qualities needed from a top-class Wideman. He has the pace to burn and his skillset is goodenough to leave a defender feeling dizzy.

Paul Were was one of the few local baed players who were in the Harambee Stars AFCON squad earlier this year. Were favors the right side of the attack where he can cut in with his left foot and cause havoc to opposition defenders. Sharks will need to be careful with how they deal with Were.

Whyvonne Isuza-AFC Leopards

The former Tusker FC attacking midfielder is set to Captain Ingwe. Isuza is not only good with the ball at his feet but also one of the hardest-working players in the Kenyan Premier League. He will run from the first whistle to the last and should Sharks give him space to operate, he will run them down!

Isuza is undoubtedly AFC Leopards best player and a god game from him mostly ends up as 3 points for AFC Leopards.

Patillah Omotto-Kariobangi Sharks

Kariobangi Sharks midfield general will be tasked with keeping the aforementioned Isuza quite. He is unbeaten in 6 matches against AFC Leopards and will be eager to extend that record on Sunday.

Omotto is also a former AFC Leopards player which adds more incentive for him to give a good performance. His midfield battle against Isuza will be an interesting one and surely one to keep a close eye on.
