Radio Maisha presenter Mwende Macharia celebrated her birthday on Friday at Golden Ratio Hotel at Signature Mall along Mombasa road.
Dressed in a black short dress with a touch of gold, Mwende stepped out glittering not forgetting the masks which were compulsory for every lady in attendance.
The party saw various celebrities in attendance. Some of these were; Gospel musician Bahati, Milele FM presenter Alex Mwakindeu, Rawbeena, media personality Chero among others.
The party comes at a time when she was a topic of discussion being one of veteran producer J Blessing’s baby mama.
She was engaged to J Blessing but had to break off the engagement due to what she referred to as fundamental issues in the relationship.
The two broke up while she was expecting his child. Blessing moved on shortly after with musician Chantelle while Mwende moved on with her life, raising the son she sired with Blessing, Champion Blessing.
Before parting ways, wedding plans were in the process. Blessing had even met her parents in Diani.
