Ken Okoth’s Baby Mama Against Late MPs Family, Supports Mariga

Ken Okoth’s baby mama goes against late MPs family, supports rival.

The mother of the late Ken Okoth’s child, Nominated MCA Ann Thumbi, is not in good terms with the family of the deceased MP, that is if her Tuesday’s action is anything to go by.

Barely a week after Bernard Okoth, the late MP’s brother, clinched the ODM Party ticket in its primaries, Thumbi has made it clear her preferred candidate for the seat.

Pictures making rounds on social media has positioned the nominated MCA at the nerve centre of Jubilee candidate’s political campaign.

Thumbi was captured garbed in Jubilee Party’s attire and walking side by side with the party’s candidate McDonald Mariga, as he was headed for IEBC clearance.

The action caught social media user by surprise as many went berserk after spotting her with her in-law’s arch-rival.

“Did u say and Anne Thumbi!!! She could not support his brother in law!!! Hiyo ni criminal,” said Cyrus Nyakweba.

Another user, David Ngugi, questioned: “Ann Thumbi, I mean Ann, why are you out to Disinherit your in-laws a seat that baba took time to go and present a cert???”

Ann Mumbi with other Jubilee leaders as they accompanied McDonald Mariga to IEBC.

However, only time will tell on who she will be supporting next after IEBC nullified Mariga’s candidature after his name was found missing in the voter’s register.

Important to note, the decision by Thumbi comes at the backdrop of an ongoing tussle with the late Okoth’s family.

The MCA had gone to court to demand the late’s family to consider her and the son in burial arrangements of the MP.

She successfully obtained a court order barring the burial but ODM Party Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna a day later said they had agreed on the out of court settlement.

But after the late MP was cremated, Thumbi claimed that no consultation was made.

She went back to court and DNA test was carried out where it emerged the child was a biological son f the late MP.
