Knowledge is power, right? Reading gives you new bits of information, and the more information you have, the more knowledgeable you will become and you’ll be better-equipped to tackle any challenge you’ll ever face. Reading culture is one that’s fast losing its way in today’s world. People don’t read anymore, and many don’t even see the importance of reading.
Rapper Octopizzo aka Henry Ohanga seem to have his 2019 priorities going on well for him. This comes almost an year after he graduated from University of Pennsylvania and the Centre for Social Impact Strategy on 5th September 2018 after completing his 8 months online study.
The course is offered to organizations ‘working employees requires one to hit more than 40% to be eligible to continue with Masters. Octipozzo has already shown interests in going further with his studies.
For a while now, we know a few Kenyans are literate but unfortunately lack a strong and consistent reading culture unlike the case with most developed western countries. Kenyan culture encourages people to spend leisure time in sporting activities, recreational places (bars, hotels), churches and mosques.
The youth on the other hand spend most of their time on social media, playing video games and discussing European football. Kenya is one of the countries with the most educated citizens in east and central Africa.
