Speaking to Opera News, Mwalala exuded confidence that the trio’s arrival will beef up his side ahead of CAF Confederation Cup and league assignments.

“The three are good players and I am happy to have them on board. As you know we are playing in Caf Confederation Cup and the KPL, as such having depth in the team, is essential and I believe the three make us stronger, they bring quality to the team,” he stated.

The Dockers have also loaned out three young players. Kevin Chacha and Keegan Ndemi have joined Sony Sugar while Dennis Magige has moved to Coast Stima. Mwalala believes the trio will benefit from the temporary stays away from the club.

“They are young players and they need to play week in week out. We couldn’t guarantee them that play-time here this year and so we decide to let them go for now. I believe by playing more they will become better players and who knows maybe next season they will into our starting team because football is very unpredictable,” he added.

Mwalala’s side played to a one-all draw with Mathare United in their opening match of the season on Saturday, next in line is a home-match against Zoo FC.
