Kenyan Premier League side Posta Rangers have confirmed the signing of two players; Eliud Lokuwam from Gor Mahia and Andrew Wanjala from Sunrise FC a few days ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Lokuwam, a Kenyatta University student has joined the Mailmen on a 1-year loan where he is expected to beef-up their attack. Wanjala, on the other hand, is a left-back, he has been signed from Sunrise FC to help in fostering the backline department.

“I can confirm that we have signed Eliud Lokuwam and Andrew Wanjala. Lokuwam joins us on loan for one season and he is a good addition to the team. The technical bench recommended that we get him and I am delighted that Gor Mahia agreed to loan him to us, I strongly believe that he will score goals for us because that’s an area we really struggled last year. Wanjala, on the other hand, is a young unknown left-back but he is a quality player, one that we have closely monitored and I think he will increase competition in that position,” Club chairman John Tonui told Opera News.

This is in a bid to revamp their squad that almost got relegated in the last season. The team had to protect their Kenyan Premier League status via playoff where they defeated NSL side Nairobi Stima.
