Ugandan midfielder Hashim Sempala has made a return to Tusker FC after penning down a 2 year deal with the club. The defensive midfielder leaves Gor Mahia after spending just 4 months with the current Kenya Premier League champions.
He first joined Tusker in June 2016 from Ugandan club BUL FC and he won the league title in his first season there. He quickly established himself as a midfield powerhouse and was named as Club Captain at the beginning of last season.

However, the bulky build player had a dispute with Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano and he was quickly shifted to Gor Mahia in March this year. He joins George Odhiambo, Gabriel Wandera, Michael Wanjala, Vincent Ngesa and Humprey Mieno as the other Tusker FC signings this window.
The Brewers start their league campaign this weekend with a clash against Sempala’s immediate former club Gor Mahia on Saturday from 4:15 at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
