When it comes to political comics and theatrics, North Rift leaders never disappoints. It all started with the famous West Pokot county Governor John Lonyangapuo after lashing out on Kijana fupi round, commonly known as Mulmulwas.

The comedy trend seems to be finding its roots to Eldoret after Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut appeared at an event graced by DP William Ruto in his constituency all clad in a red outfit from the head down to his shoes.

The controversial MP had accompanied DP Ruto during the opening of Living Room International Hospital, a health facility which will specialize in palliative care in Kipkorgot, Ainabkoi constituency in Eldoret.

In his speech which was delivered in Swahili language, Chepkut thanked DP William Ruto for his immense support and developments in his constituency promising Ruto that he was going to get full support from the region in his 2022 endeavours.

It is, however, the manner in which the speech was delivered that left many online laughing their hearts out. Throughout his speech, Chepkut seemed to be struggling with the Swahili language which in the long run forced him to opt for the local language in order to express himself well.

The most interesting part came at the end when he concluded his speech on a rather English language opting to apply complicated English terminologies that left the crowd more confused without meaningful comprehension.

The MP first came to the limelight in 2017 when he left the national assembly in stitches during his first speech as Ainabkoi MP. Chepkut who had defeated the then constitution and legal affairs chair Samuel Chepkong’a had branded himself as ‘The only Human Soul Alive
