President Uhuru Kenyatta’s preaching at a Karen church has become a subject of discussion among social media users.
Uhuru was invited as the Cheif -guest at Citam church Karen during their 60th anniversary at Karen where he shared with the audience some Christian tips on how to worship God.
The Head of State made it clear that it is not how you worship God, but how much you live according to His ways. He President went on to advise that for any country to be great, the praise of God and worship cant be ignored.
“H.E. Hon. President Uhuru Kenyatta says, it is not how much your worship God but how much you live in His ways. If we want to live in a great country, let us praise and worship God but most of all live in His ways,” said Uhuru.
The grand event was also attended by other top leaders among the Deputy President William Ruto, Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris and Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja.
It is not the first time the president has gone public about his religion. In last month’s viral video, the president is seen leading prayer at an unspecified event while in the company of other political leaders including Senator Sakaja.
In the video that was shared by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, the President is heard praying for peace unity and journey mercies and wellness of each Kenyan.
A section of Kenyans have since reshared Uhuru’s statement on social media as a sign of agreement.

Context meant that even as we worship we must do it unto God and not to man for the moment. God needs us beyond the worship. He wants us to live His ways. That was the message of the good man @UKenyattaQuote
