Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama is on the verge of leaving anytime after experiencing a torrid time at the club. Wanyama is rumoured to be on his way out before the European transfer window closes on September 2, with a £10m move to Club Brugge mooted.
Though he will be leaving a legacy at the club, Spurs fans now believe that the Kenyan international has been the main reason why they have been conceding a lot of goals.
The 28-year-old was a key player on his debut to London, featuring in 36 matches and starting in 35 of those. But injuries have limited his effectiveness in the past two seasons, appearing in only 12 matches and losing the important role in Pochettino’s plan.

Since his move is imminent, Spurs’ fans want a perfect replacement to help the club regain its former glory albeit believing that no player can match Wanyama’s stature during his fine days.
This is why we're weaker and conceding more, we lost out beast and protector along with Dembele.
Sadly, this Wanyama will never be fit and mobile enough now.
We've replaced Dembele, now we need to replace Wanyama. https://t.co/YA01eDkD0N

Amen to that former partnership ✨
Think we’ll do well this season, but regrettably, no immediate title challenge or even a top 2 slot until – the very least – we find another beast to break up play and also protect that ball playing defence …

Wanyama is not a good footballer same as sissoko we make do because they have physicality but let’s not make out they are quality footballers

Never be fit and mobile enough? Based on what? He’ll be sold cos of Ndombele, Sissokos resurrection and Poch’s obsession with Winks. Given game time he’d come good. Dier only still around as he’s versatile.

To be honest mate having seen N’Didi play I think he could be a great replacement for Wanyama, what do you think?

Sounds like you can’t wait for the transfer window to open again Jason 😂

Wanyama joined Tottenham Hotspur on 23 June 2016 from Southampton for a fee of £11 million. He played in Southampton under Mauricio Pochettino, who brought him to the club in 2013.
