The Keroche breweries billionaire family has once more been dragged into the spotlight for alleged tax evasion in their business since 2015.
The Director of Public Prosecutions Nordin Hajji ordered the arrest of Keroche breweries owners Tabitha Karanja and her husband Joseph Karanja. The couple is expected to be charged in court over evading taxes worth sh.14.4 billion. This is not the first time KRA is involved in a war with Keroche over tax evasion.
Taking to social media, the Keroche heiress and their only daughter Anerlisa Muigai expressed support for her parents in this trying time. She asked for fans prayers as well.

Her lover and fiance showed his support for her and his future in-laws. In his comment, he used emojis that can be translated into encouraging Anerlisa to stay strong and sending his love.

Tabitha Karanja remains a role model ever since I could understand the concept of one. She has been through so much harassment as a woman trying to make it in a male dominated industry, 1 and as a competitor to one of the leading brewers in the country. She’s a tough cookie. She’ll get through this.

I listened to her yesternight when ktn called her and could feel the pain whether the tax evasion is true or not true the right communication channel should be used. Just like when they pay taxes they don’t announce when they don’t pay taxes don’t announce too unless the company is playing games.
