Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei utterances threatening to deal with enemies of Deputy President William Ruto in a viral video has continued to elicit reactions in the political sphere.
ODM Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo being the last to react has now dared the Cherargei to ‘deal with’ her after she announced herself as an opposer of the deputy president.
In a Facebook post on Monday, the fierce Mbita MP announced that he was not afraid of Cherargei’s remarks as his lineage does not allow her to submit by any threats.
“I want to tell Hon. Senator Cherargei or whatever your name is, you can not threaten people by saying you are profiling those opposed to the Deputy President and ” you will deal with them when the time comes” whatever that means. Based on your comments I can confirm to you that I come from a lineage of people with balls and who are by nature allergic to threats and impositions of any nature. By my inherent nature alone and based on your statement, I openly declare I OPPOSE!” read Millie’s statement.
In the vocal video the vocal Nandi legislator had warned Ruto’s enemies after announcing that a ‘hit list’ was being prepared and that when the time is ripe, they will be dealt with.
According to him, Ruto’s allies are keen to ensure that his enemies are ‘marked’ and ‘profiled’.
“Those abusing the deputy president should continue but know that we are marking you and we are profiling you,” he said.
