Do you still remember Chris Msando? It is now two years since the former IEBC ICT manager was murdered in one of the most macabre killings that is yet to be resolved.
His family held the 2nd anniversary at his Lifunga Rural Home in Ugenya on Sunday. Most politicians avoided the function like they always do. But what was so surprising is the fact that even Msando’s widow Eva Buyu did not attend!
The last time we had of Eva Msando was in September 2018 when President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed her to the Board of the Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZ). It is not clear why she didn’t attend her beloved husband’s anniversary.
Eva’s appointment was effected after she pleaded with President Uhuru Kenyatta to hand her a job saying that she was no longer able to cater for her family.
“I don’t want to submit myself to another man in order to feed my children. I will appreciate any decent job that will enable me to cater for my family,” she said.
Her appointment elicited mixed reactions on social media with some people asking her not to take the job.
Eva Buyu should refuse that job. Jubilee had her husband Chris Msando murdered because he claimed he had a chip to the IEBC servers in his arm.
Taking that job is spitting on his grave. Raila was supposed to ensure justice not get her a job. Shame on her for accepting it.

Despite her absence, the family urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga to use their new-found friendship through the famous handshake to find their son’s killers.
The family accused NASA coalition led by ODM boss Raila Odinga of turning their backs on them at their hour of need adding that their son lost his life for standing with what they termed as the truth against the ruling regime.
“It is true that NASA led by Raila Odinga has abandoned our family after Msando’s death. They have abandoned their course as well. We want them to know that we do not want handouts but justice,” said Peter Msando, the brother to the late Chris.
At the same time, the family accused the Government of refusing to accept help from the American and British embassies who had offered to investigate their son’s murder.
