Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has declared his 2022 Presidential bid.

Kivutha Kibwana who accompanied the Deputy President William Ruto in the Turkana Cultural Festival stated in front of him that he should not be sidelined in the national politics as 2022 he be battling out for the country’s top seat.

A section of Kenyans have been pushing the former Wiper Chairman to run for President. Kivutha’s development record and dedication to public service have won him many admirers.

The Law Professor also offered some political advice to the DP, asking him to seek audience with Raila Odinga if he wants to be in the next government.

“I wish you could also sit with Raila. That would send a good message to the country. A conversation with Raila will ensure you’re part of the next government as much as it will unite the country,” Kibwana stated.

Both leaders were hosted by Governor Josphat Nanok who insisted that the county assemblies should engage the public while debating the amendment Bill.

Nanok said Punguza Mizigo proposal by Thirdway Alliance party and that which will be proposed by the BBI should be critically analysed to see which one is of benefit to the country.
