Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on his Garissa Township Counterpart Aden Duale, calling him a camel which was elected by only 2000 people.

It all started when the National Assembly Majority Leader called Kuria a donkey in the 2022 Presidential race. During an interview with Citizen TV’s Hussein Mohammed, Duale said that the race will be between Ruto and Raila only.

“In 2022, it will be a two-horse race between William Ruto and Raila Odinga. The rest are donkeys. I will support DP Ruto in 2022. He is not the kind of person you abandon. He is a strong politician” Duale confidently said.

He rubbished Moses Kuria’s candidature as a joker who should be classified in the category of donkeys in the race.

Moses Kuria did not take these comments lying down. In a harsh rejoinder, he questioned the authority used to make such allegations when he was only voted by 2000 people.

“Hii dunia ina maajabu. A camel elected by 2000 people calls others donkeys? How now ?,” read Moses Kuria’s Facebook post.

This is not the first time that the two Jubilee legislators have publicly collided as it is just in the recent that Kuria accused Duale of frustrating most of his private bills by ensuring they do not get to the floor of the House and that he is plotting to have him de-whipped from both the Transport and Budget committees.

“None of my legislative proposals has ever been brought to the House since 2014. From NGO’s Reform Bill (2014) to the Coffee Bill, the Interest Rates Bill and now the one he has sworn to defeat – Select Committee to support Matiang’i and his committee,” Kuria said.
