‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo pens down emotional message to Gor days after joining Tusker

Tusker FC new signing George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo penned down an emotional message to his former club Gor Mahia, their fans and stakeholders for the time well spent together.

The 26-year-old praised the club for the wonderful care, love, and respect that he was accorded.

“I want to sincerely thank the entire Gormahia FC fraternity for the respect, love, and care they accorded me during my stay with them. I joined the mighty k’Ogalo right from school & it has been like my second home.

“I sincerely want to thank the club’s fans for the morale support you guys gave me which enabled my growth in football career. It wasn’t in vain. I lack words to describe the mighty Kogalo fans but I do pray for the Almighty to give u guys more life full of blessing. Amor kodu Jothurwa.”

The winger joined Gor in 2009 from Thur Gem High School but left at the end of the 2009-10 season for greener pastures abroad. He then returned in 2014 before signing for Tusker on a two-year deal after seeing through his contract.

 

In his overall stay with K’Ogalo, the 26-year-old made 200 appearances, winning five KPL titles and many other accolades.
