Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC have confirmed the signing of a goalkeeper from little known Bungoma FC. The Brewers, who recently lost their goalkeeper Bryne Omondi to Posta Rangers, have found a perfect replacement for the gone keeper.
Through their official social media handle, the Matano-led side confirmed that the new signing Michael Wanjala will be in their goal post next season.
Welcome on board Michael Wanjala from @bungomasuperstarsfc . He becomes our 5th signing after Vincent Ngesa, Gabriel Wandera, Mario Kakai and Eric Zakayo. Wanjala replaces Byrne Omondi who was released to Posta Rangers FC. #kpltransfers #TFC #Brewers4life pic.twitter.com/wE4DhQlZ2A

Wanjala was a key player for Bungoma Superstars in this year’s SportPesa Shield Cup where the team eliminated AFC Leopards and Sofapaka to reach the quarter-finals and add another ‘safe pair of hands’ to Tusker’s goalkeeping department in the 2019/20 season.
The Former Bungoma Superstars keeper now joins a list of 5 players that have been signed by the Brewers this transfer window. Other players signed so far include; Vincent Ngesa, Gabriel Wandera, Mario Kakai, and Eric Zakayo.
