The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Allen Gichuhi has rubbished claims that Lawyer Cliff Ombeta is not licensed to practice as a lawyer.
This is after Stephen Ongaro who was representing the LSK in the murder case lawyer Willie Kimani told Justice Jessie Lessit that Ombeta does not have enough points to allow him to practice law in Kenya hence his certificate had been withdrawn.
Mr. Gichuhi now says Stephen Ongaro misguided the Court.

Ombetta was not present during the court session which now marks the third time in court for the mention of the murder trial where he represents three accused persons.
However, his lawyer Doreen Kali representing defended him claiming that he has a valid license. She maintains that Ombeta is still on the register as a lawyer.
Cliff Ombeta has an impressive record as a criminal lawyer in the country where he has been representing most of the controversial cases in the country among them the Akasha brothers, Migori Governor Okoth Obado among others.
This pronouncement implicates Lawyer Ombeta and the clients he is currently representing in court.
