Manchester United fans have once again stormed social media to express their fury against their chief Ed Woodward. This is after the club has failed to show any signs of bringing a new player with only a few hours remaining for the transfer deadline.
The Red Devils’ fans have constantly been asking the club to revamp the squad which gave disappointing results in the season 2018-19. They failed to win any trophy and also finished out of the top-four position, meaning they will not be featured in the next season’s Champions League.
As it stands, the Red Devils have signed only three players; 2 defenders (Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka), and a young inexperienced forward (Daniel James).
According to United fans, Woodward has failed to fortify the team’s midfield and striking force. They fear that the club is set to succumb to another season of failure.
