I have made up my mind. It’s either Raila, and Kalonzo to support me or they forget about me. I will go up to the end as I did in 2013. These are the exact words by Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi which have put him on the receiving end of Social Media users in Kenya.
Mudavadi who termed himself as a pioneer for NASA coalition said he supported Raila and Kalonzo in 2017 general elections and it is now their turn to support him in 2022.
While speaking on Friday in Busali, Sabatia sub-county at the funeral of Elijah Muhanji who was the father-in-law of Vihiga Woman Representative Beatrice Adagala, Mudavadi said he will not disappoint his supporters again in 2022 but will rather rally other leaders behind his candidature.
His sentiments were however met with harsh reactions as most Kenyans told off the soft-spoken leader with some mocking his candidature as ‘dead on arrival’.
Many mocked Mudavadi telling him that Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga will even garner more votes than him from his Westen Kenya backyard in 2022.
Here are the comments from Facebook and Twitter;
Mudavadi is a crying baby, can't go anywhere

Let him try even governorship in his own home…
He lacks charisma of a politician, maybe he can sing gospel or be a Bishop.
